In order to ensure the safe and economical operation of the power system and its power generation, supply and electrical equipment, power grid users require voltage separation to operate in three ways: forward voltage regulation, reverse voltage regulation and constant voltage regulation. However, in the actual operation of the power grid, due to the change of active and reactive power output, the increase or decrease of the electrical load, and the abnormal wiring method of the system, the bus voltage will be detached from the voltage limit. This is not the cause of equipment failure, and only needs to be adjusted accordingly to meet the voltage quality requirements of the grid and users.

What to do in the above situations:

(1) Adjust the operation method and distribute the load reasonably.

(2) Increase or decrease reactive power and switch capacitor bank.

(3) Change the network parameters, stop, put or desolve the transformer.

(4) Change the de novo distribution of active and reactive power, and adjust the transformer tap.

How to deal with such phenomena

(1) Order the on-site operation personnel to check whether the high and low voltage fuses of the voltage transformer are fused, and replace them if so, and the abnormal voltage phenomenon should disappear.

(2) If there is a bus with the same level of voltage that can be operated by closing the ring, the method of running the bus side by side can be used to check whether the bus is really grounded. If the other bus also shows the same voltage indication when side by side, the problem of PT high and low voltage fuse blowing can be ruled out. When the voltage indication of the other bus is different and the grounding signal is not generated, it can also be known that the PT high and low voltage fuse is blown off.
