In the new era of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), many system integrators and engineers are facing severe challenges and urgently need to obtain a secure and reliable IIoT gateway solution, and regularly update security patches to correct system security vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Moxa's new AIG-300 series IIoT gateways integrate with Azure IoT Edge services and are equipped with a number of common functions to unlock tremendous value and help you build an IIoT system that is both cost-effective and time-effective.
Seamlessly integrate with Azure IoT Edge for fast and secure connectivity to the cloud
IIoT gateways need to be highly secure and robust to ensure seamless data collection and device management from the edge to the cloud. Seamlessly integrated with Azure IoT Edge and equipped with ThingsPro, the AIG-300 IIoT gateway is a market-leading solution for reliable, fast, and easy data collection and device management. The collected device data is first transferred to Azure IoT Edge and can be rigged to the Azure IoT Hub channel in just a few simple steps. In turn, Azure IoT Hub data can be transferred to Azure IoT Edge on AIG-Series IIoT gateways to manage connected devices. This one-stop seamless margin-to-cloud transmission channel can save customers a lot of system development time and costs.
Device setup and start-up processes are faster and safer
Most IIoT use is located in remote and demanding unmanned environments, such as smart grids, energy storage systems, solar farms, oil and gas extraction plants, trackside systems, etc. Maintaining the proper functioning of the system and the proper monitoring of equipment status is essential for the above use cases. The AIG series gateways are designed with wide temperature range and low energy consumption, and are designed to withstand harsh environments.
Through rehabilitation file transfer, over-the-air (OTA) upgrade, secure boot, and other means, AIG series gateways deployed in remote areas can be quickly upgraded and maintained, ensuring continuous and stable operation, and effectively avoiding network intrusion. To avoid interruptions in connectivity caused by equipment failures and sudden shutdowns, the AIG Series has a built-in rehabilitation function that restores the firmware at remote sites to its previous stable state, ensuring that network connectivity is not affected. If the software upgrade fails, the gateway will actively restore the backup software to ensure the stable operation of the system. In addition, ThingsPro can be equipped with IIoT gateways in batches, and software upgrades can also be fulfilled remotely, greatly simplifying the equipment process.
AIG-300 Series Highlights:
The state-of-the-art IIoT gateway features an ARM® Cortex-A7™ dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 CAN port, 4 DI, 4 DO, and supports operating temperatures from -40 to 70 °C
Simplify data acquisition and device management
Supports ThingsPro and seamlessly integrates with Azure IoT Edge to ensure fast, secure, and secure connectivity to the cloud
The equipment is quick and easy to equipp
Provide stable OTA function to avoid system failures during the software upgrade process
Equipped with a secure boot function to prevent malicious code fulfillment and software injection
