On July 20, 2022, Cao Yumei, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and his delegation went to AUBO to investigate the "AUBO Robot Industry College". Wang Huagang, Deputy Director of Changzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Peng Liping, Director of Higher Vocational Division, Fu Yibo, Deputy Secretary of the Education Working Committee of Wujin District Party Committee, Sun Yu, Vice President of Changzhou Higher Vocational School, and Zhang Fangjie, General Manager of AUBO Education Division, accompanied the investigation.
During the investigation, Cao Yumei and her entourage watched the "AUBO Robot Industry College", listened to Sun Yu, vice president of Changgao Vocational School, and Zhang Fangjie, general manager of AUBO Education Division, on the consideration and practical exploration of both sides of the school and the enterprise in the construction of the Industrial College. Cao Yumei fully affirmed the achievements of the college, and put forward a proposal for better cultivating high-quality application-oriented, compound and innovative talents in the future, emphasizing that the college should take the initiative to adapt to the needs of regional economic and social development, deeply connect with regional industrial needs, further promote the in-depth integration of schools and enterprises, implement the "Several Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the Integration of Industry and Education", promote the reform of talent cultivation mode, and create the highlights of the construction and running of industrial colleges.
AUBO Robotics Industrial College was jointly established in September 2019 by AUBO (Jiangsu) Robotics Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Senior Vocational Skills School, and Mr. Ni Guangnan, a well-known academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was specially appointed as the honorary dean. The Industrial College aims to establish a modern industrial college with world feelings and Changzhou characteristics that integrates education, professional construction, skill improvement, vocational competition, innovation and entrepreneurship, practical training, scientific and technological development and social service around the intelligent production industry. At present, AUBO Robotics Industry College is divided into two schools, Chang Higher Vocational College and AUBO Robotics Industry College, and has long been committed to building the college into a talent cultivation center, a skill service center and a skill highland for industrial transformation and promotion for intelligent manufacturing enterprises. At present, there are 30 double-teacher teachers and 15 part-time teachers in enterprises, including 2 professors and 10 associate professors. In the past three years, a total of 1,662 students have been enrolled, and at present, 813 students have graduated, and the graduates are mainly working in AUBO (Jiangsu) Robot Co., Ltd. and its upstream and downstream intelligent production enterprises, with a working rate of 100%. In addition, AUBO Institute of Technology has trained more than 1,200 employees for collaborative robot users and production enterprises across the country.
Zhang Fangjie, general manager of AUBO Education Division, introduced that the upcoming AUBO Building "AUBO Robot Industry College" will be included in the key investment and development projects. In the future, schools and enterprises will jointly build an integrated skill system from the industrial base of intelligent production to high-end clusters, forming a complex of industry and education, vocational education and a community of destiny for the integration of industry and education between schools and enterprises. Promote the deep integration of education chain, talent chain, industrial chain and innovation chain, and work together to build AUBO Robotics Industrial College into a benchmark and demonstration college in the province and even the whole country.
