In the bonding wire production workshop, the heat-treated wire needs to be rewound, and the loading and unloading of the rewinding machine is usually operated manually. Each reel of wire is manually transferred to a 1.8-meter-high rewinding machine, and workers are easily injured by long-term repetitive movements and incorrect forced attitudes. In addition, the workshop has huge investment, and the requirements for production power and product yield are extremely high, and it needs to be produced at full capacity 24 hours a day to reduce the depreciation cost of its equipment. AUBO collaborative robot can completely replace manual labor, a robot can load and unload two rewinding machines together, and the efficient operation of 24 hours without stopping not only effectively improves the production power and reduces the cost of personnel, but also ensures the consistency of the product and improves the market competitiveness.

  Because of the high height of the rewinder and the weight of the wire, AUBO i5L collaborative robot was selected for the deployment of the production line, and its operating radius can reach 1350mm, which better satisfies the needs of the rewinder and the material cabinet. The customer installed AUBO collaborative robots on the top of the original rewinding machine, and completed the loading and unloading operations in a narrow space without changing the layout of the existing production line, reducing the impact of production line upgrades on man-hours. In addition, AUBO cobot can be preset with a variety of programs, and when the customer's product batch is replaced, it can complete flexible call programs, and the simple and easy-to-use operation interface can quickly carry out new production tasks, which greatly improves the time of production line changeover.

Precision and speed are important goals in the production of bonding wires. AUBO collaborative robot has a repeatable positioning accuracy of ± 0.02mm and a tool speed of 2.8m/s, which can carry out high-speed and accurate wire picking and unloading operations. In addition, it supports 10-level collision detection, which ensures the safety of surrounding operators while ensuring the working power, which can be described as killing two birds with one stone.

Before the bonding wire leaves the factory, AUBO collaborative robot is used to deploy machine vision to detect the surface quality, pay-off, and arrangement of the bonding wire, and accurately judge and find out the defective products according to the drawing data, so as to comprehensively improve the production operation power, reduce the possibility of manual detection and omission, and complete the data cloudification and visualization.
