The AUBO-i20 robot system consists of a robot body, a control cabinet (various types of control cabinets are available), a base and a teaching pendant. The robot itself mimics a human arm, with a total of 6 rotational joints, each representing a degree of freedom. As shown in Figure 5-2, the robot joint consists of a base (joint 1), a shoulder (joint 2), an elbow (joint 3), a wrist 1 (joint 4), a wrist 2 (joint 5), and a wrist 3 (joint 6). The base is used for the connection between the robot body and the base, and the tool end is used for the connection between the robot and the tool. Arm tubes are used to connect between the shoulder and elbow and between the elbow and wrist. Through the teach pendant operation interface or drag teaching, the user can control the rotation of each joint to move the robot end tool to different positions.
