The motor control loop is mainly composed of a motor, a controller, and a directional response interface. The motor rolls the rotating shaft and drives the robotic arm to move. The motor manipulator controls when the motor applies force, stops, or continues to roll. The bearing interface in the loop supplies speed and bearing information to the controller. In order to obtain this accurate information about the rotating target, azimuth detection is very important in motor control.
The orientation detection in the motor control system usually includes: micro-motor solution components, photoelectric components, magnetosensitive components and electromagnetic induction components. Because the measurement accuracy of the photoelectric element is high, it can accurately reflect the mechanical orientation of the rotor of the motor, so the photoelectric encoder is particularly common in the use of motor control.
The operating principle of an incremental optical encoder
The incremental photoencoder is composed of a light source, a lens, a code disc, a fixed grating, a photosensitive element and an electronic circuit, and the incremental photoencoder can detect the orientation and speed of the motor. Its operating principle is to rotate the code disc with uniform narrow slit in the radial direction driven by the rotation axis rolling, and there are two narrow slits with 90° phase staggered from each other on the fixed grating, and there is a photodiode to receive the signal transmitted by the code disc.
During operation, the grating does not move, the disc rolls together with the hinge, and the light announced by the light source is projected onto the disc and the grating. When the opaque area on the code disc is exactly aligned with the transparent narrow slit on the fixed grating, the light is completely blocked, and the output voltage of the photoelectric converter is the smallest. When the transparent area on the code disc is exactly aligned with the transparent narrow slit on the fixed grating, all the light passes through, and the output voltage of the photoelectric converter is maximum. The photoelectric converter will output an approximate sine wave voltage every time the disc is rotated, and the phase difference of the output voltage of photoelectric converters A and B is 90°.
