1. No-load energizing test of inverter
1. Ground the grounding terminal of the inverter.
2. Connect the power input terminal of the inverter to the power supply through the leakage maintenance switch.
3. Check whether the factory display window of the inverter is normal, if it is incorrect, it should be reset, otherwise it is required to be returned.
4. Understand the operation key of the inverter. The general inverter has 6 keys such as RUN, STOP, PROG, DATAPENTER, UP, ▲, and DOWN, and the boundaries of the operation keys of different inverters are basically the same. In addition, some inverters also have function keys such as MONITORPDISPLAY, RESET, JOG, and SHIFT.
2. The inverter runs with motor without load
1. To set the power and number of poles of the motor, the working current of the inverter should be comprehensively considered.
2. Set the maximum output frequency, fundamental frequency and torque characteristics of the inverter. The general inverter is equipped with a number of VPf curves for users to choose, and users should choose the appropriate VPf curves according to the nature of the load when using. In the case of fan and pump loads, the torque operation code of the inverter should be set to the variable torque and reduced torque operation characteristics. In order to improve the low-speed function when the inverter is started, so that the torque output of the motor can meet the requirements of production load starting, the starting torque should be adjusted. In the frequency conversion speed regulation system of asynchronous motor, the control of torque is more complicated. In the low frequency band, because the influence of resistance and leakage reactance cannot be ignored, if VPf is still insisted on as a constant, the magnetic flux will be reduced, thereby reducing the output torque of the motor. For this reason, the voltage is appropriately compensated in the low frequency band to increase the torque. Generally, the inverter is manually set and compensated by the user.
3. Set the inverter to the built-in keyboard operation mode, press the run key and stop button, and check whether the motor can start and stop normally.
4. Understand the maintenance code when the inverter runs out of trouble, investigate the factory value of the thermal maintenance relay, investigate the setting value of overload maintenance, and modify it when needed. The operator of the inverter can set the electronic thermal relay function of the inverter according to the operation manual of the inverter. When the output current of the inverter exceeds its allowable current, the overcurrent maintenance of the inverter will block the output of the inverter. Therefore, the maximum threshold of the electronic thermal relay of the inverter does not exceed the maximum allowable output current of the inverter.
3. Test run with load
1. Manually operate the operation stop button of the inverter panel, investigate the operation stop process of the motor and the display window of the inverter to see if there is any abnormal phenomenon.
2. If the inverter presents an overcurrent maintenance action during the process of starting the P abort motor, the deceleration time of P should be set from the beginning. The acceleration of the motor during acceleration and deceleration depends on the acceleration torque, while the frequency change rate of the inverter during the start and braking process is set by the user. If the moment of inertia of the motor or the load of the motor changes, when the speed is increased or decelerated according to the preset frequency change rate, it may not be possible to accelerate the torque, resulting in the formation of motor stall, that is, the motor speed is not in harmony with the output frequency of the inverter, resulting in overcurrent or overvoltage. Therefore, the acceleration and deceleration time should be reasonably set according to the moment of inertia and load of the motor, so that the frequency change rate of the inverter can be harmonious with the speed change rate of the motor.

The inverter needs to be equipped with a braking resistor-Delta
The inverter is equipped with a braking resistor, mainly to consume part of the energy on the DC bus capacitor through the braking resistor to avoid the voltage of the capacitor being too high. Theoretically, if the capacitor stores a lot of energy, it can be used to release it to drive the motor to avoid energy waste, but the capacity of the capacitor is limited.
