In fact, many of the well-known Italy brands that appeared at the Italy Brand Design Exhibition that day were as fascinated by the "China opportunity" as Cimbali.

Casper, one of Italy's largest manufacturers of hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors, exhibited its first electronically controlled pump product launched in China this year. As one of the representative products of Casper's energy-saving series, the Intelligent Power System (CSP) will help China achieve its "dual carbon" commitment to the international community.

"As a major infrastructure country, China's infrastructure construction has achieved one after another remarkable results in the past decade." Dai Weide, general manager of Casper Hydraulics China, said that the use of localized product management and R&D capabilities to serve the Chinese market and customers is an important factor for the sustainable and stable development of Casper's business in China, and it is also an accurate prediction of Casper's future market development trend.

Comau, an industrial automation and robotics company, also showcased its latest MATE-XT muscle-assisted technology exoskeleton at the show. Condello, head of global customer operations at Comau, revealed that Comau China is headquartered in Shanghai and has two factories in Shanghai and Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The innovation center at the Shanghai plant covers advanced electrification systems, digital solutions, smart manufacturing systems, robotics and automation products.

O-film, a leading filter supplier, was also present at the show. Simone · Trazi, chief operating officer of O-film Asia Pacific, revealed that O-film has set up three innovation centers around the world, one of which is located in Shanghai.

According to statistics from China Customs, bilateral trade between China and Italy reached US$60.3 billion in the first 10 months of this year, exceeding the whole of last year and hitting a record high. Among them, China imported US$25.1 billion from Italy, 42% higher than the pre-pandemic year of 2019.

At the 4th China International Import Expo, held in Shanghai one month ago, more than 100 Italy companies participated. Italy's Ambassador to China, Fang Lanyi, who visited the exhibition hall in person, said that Italy appreciates China's determination to continue to expand opening up and will further promote cooperation with China.
