(1) The pump does not produce oil
First of all, check whether the rotation direction of the gear pump is correct; Secondly, check whether the filter at the inlet end of the gear pump is clogged.

(iii) Lack of stress or insufficient pressure
It is mostly related to the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil, such as the incorrect selection of oil or the cleanliness of the oil does not meet the standard requirements, which will accelerate the wear and tear inside the pump and lead to internal leakage. Mineral hydraulic fluids containing additives should be used to prevent oxidation and bubble formation. The filtration accuracy is: the input oil circuit is less than 60μm, and the return oil circuit is 10-25μm.
(iv) The flow rate is not up to standard
(1) The oil inlet filter is too dirty and the oil absorption is insufficient.
(2) The installation height of the pump is higher than the self-priming height of the pump.
(3) The suction pipe of the gear pump is too thin, resulting in large oil suction resistance. Generally, the maximum oil suction flow rate is 0.5-1.5m/s.
(4) The oil suction joint leaks and the pump does not absorb enough oil. By looking for air bubbles in the tank, you can tell if the system is leaking.
(5) The gear pump bursts
The pressure resistance of the aluminum alloy gear pump is 38-45MPa, and under the premise that there is no manufacturing defect, the explosion of the gear pump must be caused by the instantaneous high pressure.
(1) There is a foreign object blocking the oil pipeline, causing the pressure to rise indefinitely.
(2) The pressure adjustment of the safety valve is too high, or the opening and closing characteristics of the safety valve are poor, and the reaction lags, so that the gear pump is not protected.
(3) If the system uses multi-way reversing valves to control the direction, some multi-way valves may have negative openings, which will lead to suffocation of the gear pump due to dead-center boosting.
(vi) Fever
(1) The system is overloaded, which is mainly manifested as excessive pressure or speed.
(2) The cleanliness of the oil is poor, the internal wear is aggravated, the volumetric efficiency is reduced, and the oil leaks from the internal gap and throttles to generate heat.
(3) The oil outlet pipe is too thin, and the oil flow rate is too high, and the general oil flow rate is 3-8m/s.
(7) Severe noise and pressure fluctuations
(1) The filter is blocked by dirt and cannot play the role of oil filtration; Or the oil level is insufficient, the oil suction position is too high, and the oil suction pipe exposes the oil surface.
(2) There is no paper pad on both sides of the pump body and the pump cover, and the pump body and the pump cover are not sealed perpendicularly, and the air is sucked in when rotating.
(3) The driving shaft of the pump is not concentric with the motor coupling, and there is twisting friction; or the pump gear meshing accuracy is not enough.
