Introduction to Mitsubishi PLC directives such as negation, air operation and END

Mitsubishi PLC command negation, empty operation and END, etc

The INV (Inverse) command is represented by a short 45° slash at the top of the ladder diagram, which negates the result of the operation before the execution of the instruction, and changes it to 1 if the result is 0, and 0 if the result is 1. In the contemptible diagram, if X0 and X1 are ON together, then Y0 is OFF; Otherwise, Y0 is ON. The INV command can also be used for LDP, LDF, ANDP and other pulse contact commands.

When entering INV commands with a handheld programmer, press the NOP button first, and then press the P/I button.

NOP (Non processing) is a no-operation command, which makes the step no-operation. After the operation of clearing the user's memory is performed, all the contents of the user's memory are changed to null operation commands.

END (End) is the completion command, which will force the completion of the scanning process at that time. If the END command is not written, it will be fulfilled from one step to the next step in the user's program memory; By placing the END command at the end of the program and only performing the procedure between the steps to the END, the END command can shorten the scanning cycle.

When debugging the program, the END instruction can be inserted after each segment of the program, and the segment debugging starts from the segment, and it is necessary to delete the END instruction in the middle of the program after debugging, which is also very useful for the error checking of the program.
