The Schneider Lexium integrated drive consists of an electric motor and a control circuit that announces the control signal via a fieldbus, pulse/direction interface or I/O interface (for internal motion tasks).

High compactness: The integration of the motor and the control circuit in a very compact unit makes it possible to reduce the size of the machine by eliminating the need for control circuits in the control cabinet. Easy to install and debug: The integration of the motor and control circuit reduces the installation cost and simplifies the work of electromagnetic compatibility. Lexium CTThe C software enables fast commissioning.

flexibilityThe exium integrated drive can be used in a variety of applications, such as a servo motor, a brushless DC motor or a stepper motor.

Depending on the skills employed, the product can meet different requirements in terms of high dynamics, flexibility or positioning accuracy in motion control.

OpennessThe exium all-in-one drive integrates the CANopen, Profibus DP sections of the main stream. The Lexium integrated drive with integrated stepper motor can also be operated via the pulse/direction interface or via I/O recall of motion tasks. This open communication concept makes it easy to integrate the Lexium integrated drive into the control system.

Integrated safety: The built-in safe torque-enclosed "brownout protection" function completes the stopping behavior of category 0 or 1 according to IEC/EN 60204-1 and eliminates the need for external power protection devices. The all-in-one drive does not have to be de-energized, which reduces system costs and restart-up times, and the drive complies with the specifications of IEC/EN 61508 SIL 2, ISO 13849-1 functional level "d" (PL d) and IEC/EN61800-5-2.
