1. How to maintain Eaton's UPS power supply?

1) Under normal circumstances, the battery is charged and discharged every 3~6 months, and the charging time of the standard machine after discharge should not be less than 10 hours.

2) UPS is idle for a long time and should be charged once every 3~6 months.

3) The temperature of the battery is required to be between 0°C and 40°C, avoid direct sunlight and keep it clean.

4) Generally at room temperature, the floating service life of WILL sealed maintenance-free lead-acid battery is 3-5 years under normal use.

2. How to maintain the battery after the hot standby of the two machines?

1). During hot standby, the host and backup machine can use battery packs of different capacities, but attention needs to be paid when discharging.

2). Large-capacity battery is suitable for supporting the standby machine, once the host fails, the standby machine has a long enough time to continue to supply power. In practice, the probability of the main engine switching to battery power supply due to the change of mains power is significantly greater than that of the backup machine, that is, the backup machine can rarely automatically switch to battery power supply. Therefore, the battery maintenance of dual-machine backup is mainly for backup machines. The specific method is as follows: backup battery maintenance:

(1) In mains mode, press the power button 1S of the main engine, and the main engine will turn to the inverter bypass state, and then the bypass indicator and the inverter indicator will be on.

(2) Press the power button 1S on the standby machine, and the standby machine will turn to self-test until the battery is in low voltage mode. LINE, BYPASS, BATTERY, AND INVTERLED WILL BE DISPLAYED IN A CYCLE.

(3) There are two ways to release the battery maintenance status of the backup machine:

A: Manually, press the power button 1S again respectively, then the main and standby machines will be transferred to LineINV-Mode.

B: Automatic, when the backup machine is discharged to the cut-off protection voltage, the main and standby machine will switch to LineINV-Mode; When the mains power supply is abnormal or interrupted, the active/standby computer switches to BATINV-Mode (battery-powered mode).
