SHANGHAI, China — Eaton, a global power management company, recently attended the 2021 Asia Women in Leadership Summit. Due to the pandemic, the summit was held online from Singapore, where senior business leaders and career experts from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region connected long-distance to discuss how to continue to promote gender parity in the workplace and support women's leadership in the post-pandemic era.

Ms. Wang Aiying, Vice President and General Manager of Circuit Protection & Operation, Asia Pacific, Eaton Electric Group, attended the summit on behalf of Eaton Group, and as one of the speakers of the roundtable on the theme of "Developing a New Generation of Female Leadership", she discussed the opportunities and challenges of women in the workplace with executives from global multinational companies such as Twitter and Deloitte.

A career expert pointed out that according to the survey data, about 30% of female employees believe that they are treated equally in the workplace, while the proportion of men who feel the same is more than 50%, and the gap between 20% has widened to 40% in technology occupations.
