02 pain points
Due to the increasing demand for customization at the consumer end, Qualcomm Machinery's production line is facing the challenge of small batches and multiple varieties. However, in the production process, traditional six-axis industrial robots often slow down the production schedule due to the long switching cycle. As a result, factories need to retain operators while considering the flexibility of manual operations. This deployment allows the plant to change the layout of existing production lines with minimal frequency to meet order demand.
03 Solution
In the end, the customer adopted the ELITE EC66 (6kg) payload collaborative robot solution, which replaced the application of traditional six-axis industrial robots, and greatly improved production efficiency. The plant also compared the ELITE cobot to a traditional six-axis industrial robot and found that the cobot was not much slower than traditional industrial robots overall, and even much faster than them when handling certain workpieces. In addition, due to the ease of assembly and assembly, and easy programming, the cobot can be freely switched between multiple machines and multiple production lines, allowing customers to be in production in less than two days. In an era where time is money, ELITE Robot's cobot solutions have won the approval of customers.
