After discussion with the integrator, the customer finally selected Elite EC66 collaborative robot, with a load of 6kg, a working radius of 914mm, and a repeatability of ±0.03mm. The workpiece to be ground is placed in a matrix tray, and two sets of suction cups are integrated at the end of the robot, one for suction and one for placement. The robot sucks up a whole group of workpieces, places them on the sanding belt, and then applies pressure by the limiting and pressing device to complete the grinding work.

Thanks to the small footprint of the Elite cobot and the easy integration and deployment of the product features, although the workstation is not large, it also integrates the purge and vacuum functions after grinding.
