The reason why welding robots can account for more than 40% of the total number of industrial robots is related to the special industry of welding. (2) Improving the working conditions of workers. The selection of robot welding workers is only used to load and unload workpieces, away from welding arc light, smoke and spatter, etc., about spot welding, workers no longer carry bulky manual welding tongs, so that workers are freed from high-intensity manual labor.

(3) Improve labor productivity. The robot has no fatigue, can be produced continuously 24 hours a day, and other applications of high-speed and efficient welding skills, using robot welding, power progress is becoming more and more obvious.

(4) The product cycle is clear, and it is easy to control the product output. The robot's production cycle is fixed, so the production plan is clearly organized.

(5) It can shorten the cycle of product transformation and replacement, and reduce the corresponding equipment investment. It can realize the welding automation of small batches of products. The biggest difference between a robot and a special machine is that it can be modified to get used to the production of different workpieces.
