(1) Industrial computer hard disk configuration

Hard drive detection

The hard disk is the carrier of the program and data of the industrial computer, and it is also the most easily damaged part of the industrial computer. Before the hard disk is used, the hard disk is first tested for time, and the hard disk will be used for a long time, and the hard disk bad sector is the most common problem. Regardless of whether the hard drive is new or old, check it before installing the system. If there are physical bad sectors, the hard disk can no longer be used in the CTC system.

Configuration and installation of the hard disk

First install the genuine Windows 2000 operating system, and then patch the whole system. Since the CTC system is a LAN network system, you need to install antivirus software and check whether the virus database is updated to the latest version to prevent the system from being paralyzed by virus attacks. Finally, after the installation of the site software is completed, set up a one-click restore, so that when the computer operating system is damaged, as long as you press the "one-click restore", the system can be restored to normal. After the industrial computer is configured, it can run for 12 hours without problems and then apply it to the CTC system.

Switch on and off the IPC

Normal power on/off. The order of powering on is to power on the printer and monitor first, and then turn on the host. The shutdown sequence is reversed, with the host being powered off first and then the peripherals being powered off.

The development of maintenance operation standards requires each industrial computer to be manually restarted at least once a month to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the industrial computer, so that at least the system can be reinitialized in time and reduce the failure of 30% program operation errors.

It is strictly forbidden to move it when the industrial computer is working, so as not to cause scratches on the track when the hard disk head is reading and writing.

Ambient temperature

Usually the suitable working temperature of the industrial computer is in the range of 0 °C - 40 °C, and the temperature beyond this range will affect the work or reliability of electronic components, which will make the work unstable and data processing errors, and burn some components. When the room temperature of the microcomputer room exceeds 24 °C, turn on the air conditioner and keep the room temperature at 24 °C. The temperature of the cabinet thermostat is controlled at 30°C, and when it exceeds 30°C, the cabinet fan is automatically turned on for heat dissipation. In order to ensure the heat dissipation effect of the industrial computer, the dust filter of the industrial computer is cleaned regularly once a month.

Dust removal work

Due to the heat dissipation of the industrial computer and other reasons, the industrial computer chassis is not completely sealed, and the industrial computer will generate a lot of static electricity when it is working. Dust enters the chassis and adheres to the surface of the integrated circuit board, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the integrated circuit board, and in serious cases, it will cause short circuit in the motherboard circuit. Although the hard drive is sealed, dust can easily enter the surface of the magnetic head of the floppy drive or the laser head of the optical drive. Therefore, the mechanical room must be kept sealed and the working environment clean and dust-free; Regularly clean the dust of each part of the IPC with a vacuum cleaner or brush every year.

Maintenance of memory modules

When upgrading the memory module of the industrial computer, choose the same brand and external frequency memory module to match, so as to avoid the system operation and other failures.

power supply

The normal AC range of the industrial computer is 220V±10%. The unstable power supply voltage is easy to cause damage to the industrial computer circuit and devices; Sudden power failure may cause the loss of internal data of the industrial computer, and in severe cases, it will also cause various failures such as the system cannot be started. Therefore, the CTC system is equipped with UPS equipment to provide a stable power supply voltage of the industrial computer. The UPS battery is charged and discharged once a year, and the problem is replaced in time; The battery life is replaced once every three years to ensure the reliable operation of UPS equipment and minimize the damage to the industrial computer.
