A Rexroth hydraulic motor is an actuator of a hydraulic system that converts the liquid pressure energy provided by a hydraulic pump into the mechanical energy (torque and speed) of its output shaft.

Hydraulic motors, also known as oil motors, are mainly used in injection molding machinery, ships, hoists, construction machinery, construction machinery, coal mining machinery, mining machinery, metallurgical machinery, ship machinery, petrochemical industry, port machinery, etc.

The high-speed motor gear motor has small size, light weight, simple structure, good manufacturability, insensitive to oil pollution, and impact resistance.

From the point of view of energy conversion, the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor are reversible hydraulic components, and the input of working liquid to any kind of hydraulic pump can make it become a hydraulic motor working condition; Conversely, when the spindle of the hydraulic motor is driven by external torque to rotate, it can also be changed to the hydraulic pump working condition. Because they have the same basic structural elements - a closed and periodically variable volume and the corresponding oil distribution mechanism.

However, due to the different working conditions of hydraulic motors and hydraulic pumps, the performance requirements for them are also different, so there are still many differences between the same type of hydraulic motors and hydraulic pumps.
