In India households, ceiling fans installed in ceilings play a great role as cooling devices and form a huge market. When Japan Denco entered the ceiling fan market in India, it has developed a supply system that can supply according to customer needs, from brushless DC motors as the core, to parts, units, and finished products (ODM supply) including controllers, blades, remote controls, etc. The brushless DC motor, which is the core product, has the characteristics of "small, lightweight, low power consumption, and good control" compared to the existing AC motor, especially in the case of unstable power supply in the India market, and the brushless DC motor can maintain stable rotation even when the voltage changes, which is highly evaluated.
In India, ceiling fans are the main cooling devices used in households. It is used like a fan at a speed of 300 to 400 revolutions. The advantage is that the brushless DC motor used maintains stable rotation even when voltage changes. The rated voltage in India is 230V, but the actual varies greatly in the range of 140V to 280V. Ceiling fans in the Japan market are used as a circulation device, with a low speed of 100 tens of revolutions, and due to the stable power supply, the speed does not change greatly during operation. On the other hand, in the India market, the blades with a rotation diameter of about 1.2m rotate at a speed of 300-400 revolutions, directly bathing people in the wind like an electric fan, so as to achieve the purpose of cooling, and the decrease in speed due to the decrease in voltage has become a big problem. Japan Den's highly reliable control circuit technology and output control technology solve these voltage instability problems.
Although brushless DC motors have many advantages over AC motors, they need to further reduce costs. In line with the advancement of commercialization, we are optimizing the magnetic circuit through magnetic field analysis, and we are focusing on improving the shape of the core while making it smaller and thinner, so as to maintain torque and efficiency and reduce costs.

In addition, by integrating the functions of the magnet yoke into the motor housing, the basic structure of the motor has been improved to reduce costs and broaden the degree of design freedom.

In the whole R&D work, the biggest difficulty is how to adjust the characteristics of the motor to make the speed and air volume of the ceiling fan meet the customer's design requirements under the specified voltage and current.
At the same time, in order to meet the customer's design requirements for the appearance of the ceiling fan, we started from the structure of the motor and developed a motor component with stronger plasticity and greater flexibility.
