This also marks the official commercialization of Panasonic's new generation of high-throughput satellite interconnection solutions in China.
The new generation of high-throughput satellite, APSTAR-6D, is an important part of Panasonic's third-generation satellite communication solution, and it is the first high-throughput communication satellite in China to use Ku-band communication. The satellite is planned by Panasonic Avionics and APT, and is committed to providing the best service for Panasonic's mobile users, fully satisfying the needs of airline users for customer experience improvement, and continuing to improve Panasonic's industry position and influence in China and other Asia-Pacific regions.
Panasonic Avionics' third-generation satellite communication solution has a complete global satellite masking network that can cover 99% of global routes, and provides users with in-flight services including high-speed Internet, audio and video streaming, VoIP application, high-quality multi-channel TV, 4G telephony and higher bandwidth.
Under the new generation of high-throughput satellites, the communication rate exceeds 220Mbps, which can provide passengers with an in-flight Internet experience similar to that of the ground network. During the flight, passengers can freely use the video application, and business travelers will not miss an important video work meeting.
