To meet the market demand for machine automation and IoT applications, Advantech has launched the TPC-300 series of next-generation industrial panel PCs.
The TPC-300 series of tablets continues the compact design of its predecessor, offering a full range of product sizes, 15-inch and 24-inch pure flat panel displays, and flexible configuration of resistive or P-CAP touch controls according to usage requirements.
Rugged and reliable design, outstanding performance
The TPC-300 series is powered by the 8th generation IntelCore i3/i5/i7 processors, which support Intel Turbo Boost technology and multitasking to enhance computing performance. It supports up to 64 GB DDR4 memory, and supports high-speed M.2 NVMe (M-key), M.2 (B-key) SATA, and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs for high-speed data processing and storage. Its grounding and chassis isolation prevent damage due to electrical faults or power fluctuations. In addition, to ensure reliable operation in harsh industrial environments, the TPC-300 series tablets support a wide temperature range (-10 - 55°C/-14 - 131°F) and have an IP66 rating against dust, oil, and water ingress.
Optimized design for improved mobility
The TPC-300 series supports a wide range of wireless communication technologies, as well as 5G technology, ensuring stable mobile connectivity for real-time communication and high-speed data transmission. To facilitate system expansion, the TPC-300 series is equipped with an M.2 (B-key) interface for integrating 5G modules, as well as mPCIe slots for 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth modules. In addition, the built-in TPM 2.0 module provides hardware-based security to ensure data integrity and secure transmission across different platforms.
Value-added software for IoT applications
The TPC-300 series displays support Advantech's value-added software solutions for device monitoring and preemptive maintenance. These solutions include WISE PaaS/DeviceOn for remote device monitoring and management; WebAccess/SCADA and WebAccess/HMI for browser-based monitoring, data acquisition, and visualization; and VisionNavi programmable machine vision software for complex machine vision applications such as vision-based inspection and measurement. These software products have undergone comprehensive compatibility testing, and in combination with the TPC-300 tablet, they provide an ideal solution for computing applications for IoT implementation and expansion.
