Advantech launches the AIR-030 series of edge AI systems based on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform. With up to 275 TOPS and 8x the performance of the previous generation, the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module provides AI developers with an easy-to-deploy and configurable solution to accelerate AI robotics and AI vision applications.
The AIR-030 edge AI solution is equipped with DeviceOn software for edge AI, which promotes AI development lifecycle management from AI container deployment, AI model OTA update, training, and performance optimization. DeviceOn Edge AI software also provides real-time monitoring and management from edge AI devices to cloud AI. Combining server-grade AI performance, industrial-grade design, and edge management, the AIR-030 series provides an ideal solution for automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robotics, and vision AI applications.

With a robust design and dimensions of 200 x 220 x 74mm, the AIR-030 series brings powerful AI inference capabilities to low-power automated machines with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin. The edge AI system is equipped with a rich selection of I/O, including CANBus for motion and orientation control, LAN and PoE options for camera input, and DIO for sensor control. It also offers full global safety and EMC certifications, including CE/FCC, CB, UL, BSMI, CCC, IEC 61000-6-2 and IEC 61000-6-4, making it ideal for real-time video analytics and AI robotics applications in heavy industry.
The AIR-030 series supports multiple expansions to better accommodate wireless modules and advanced edge AI applications, including 1 x M.2 B key 2280/3052 for NVME storage and 5G communication connectivity, 1 x M.2 2230 E key for Wi-Fi connectivity, and 1 x PCIe x16 slot for expansion card support. AI developers can also adjust the performance of the AIR-030 by adding a 10GbE card for high-speed data transfer or adding other frame grabbers for image capture. The AIR-030 series is bundled with the Linux Ubuntu 20.04OS environment and supports NVIDIA JetPack 5.0 and above software development kits and Isaac platforms, saving time and cost in AI production and robotics development.
