1. Summary

Due to the increasing variety of products and production volumes, manufacturing plants need to increase capacity and ensure stable operation. Recently, in the field of complete plant control, there is a need for drive control systems with high-speed control response and high-speed processing of massive data in order to produce high-quality products and ensure stable operation and high school.

Fuji Electric has recently developed the MICREX-View XX series XCS-3000 E-type control (XCS-3000 E-type). The controller not only monitors and controls the operating status of production equipment, but also updates large amounts of data at the fastest speed in the industry. This controller is a high-speed control system for plants and plants that can greatly improve production performance. And widely used in steel mills, non-steel mills, paper mills and other production workshops.

2. Features

1) Increase productivity by implementing high-speed updates to large amounts of monitoring and control data

The system can update the monitoring and control data of the drive equipment (inverters and motors) installed in the production equipment in the industry's shortest time of 0.5 milliseconds, and the amount of data that can be sent and received at one time (512k [STEP]) is more than 10 times higher than that of conventional products. Through this function, the production capacity of production equipment has been increased.

2) Implement synchronous control of equipment controlled by multiple controllers, so as to improve output

In large steel plants, 300 to 400 drives are controlled by multiple controllers, and even a slight time delay in the control of these devices can affect the quality of the finished product. The system is the first in the industry to enable simultaneous control of multiple axes, allowing multiple devices to be controlled simultaneously with multiple controllers without time delays. 3) The system can prevent the equipment from stopping in the event of a network failure, so it has higher reliability.

In a typical control system, since the devices connected to the controller are connected to the same network, this also means that in the event of a disconnection or any other network failure, all the devices will stop operating at the same time. In this case, the system uses a loop configuration to transmit data even in the event of a network failure by avoiding the point of failure, thereby reducing the risk of equipment downtime and improving the reliability of the system.
