Product Description

Summary: For vessels with internal obstructions or considerable internal turbulence, the Fisher 249 Outer Pontoon Level Sensor is more stable to operate than the Inner Pontoon Sensor. These sensor designs utilize the Archimedes principle to measure changes in liquid level, liquid interface level, or density/specific gravity in process vessels.

Features:

In the standard configuration of the Outer Float 249 Series sensors, the lower balance connector has a liquid damping hole to help provide stability in applications with smaller vessel volumes and to reduce the proportional valve setup.

The float reacts to small changes in specific gravity, making these meters useful for density applications and other applications that need to respond to low-level changes in input signals.

Very few moving parts are used. The blade drive bearing in the float sensor helps provide low-friction operation. The float sensor is rated up to CL2500.

Outer pontoon sensors are available in a variety of positioning and connection options, and all pontoon sensors can be mounted on the left or right.

The torsion tube can be replaced without removing the torsion tube arm.
