Introduction: The Fisher 3720 electropneumatic positioner can be used with diaphragm or piston rotary actuators. These positioners position the ball or disc at a specific input signal. The 3720 adds a Fisher 3722 electrical converter to the 3710 locator. The positioner provides valve positioning in response to a DC current input signal and can be easily configured as a single- or double-acting rotary actuator.

The materials of the housing, components and gaskets are built to withstand harsh environments.
With an EPDM O-ring and input module diaphragm, the 3720 positioner can be used in low-temperature applications.
Suitable for applications with special material requirements, such as the food and beverage industry, pharmaceuticals and tobacco processing.
Removing the cover provides easy access to all internal components.
Minimizes the impact of supply pressure and ambient temperature changes on positioner operation.
To support diagnostic testing of valve/actuator/positioner assemblies, fittings, pipes, and other fasteners can be installed between the positioner and actuator.
Standard planar indicators or optional beacon indicators can be easily installed into the locator housing.
