Introduction: The Fisher 646 electro-pneumatic converter uses a converter module that converts a 4 to 20 mA input signal into a proportional 0.2 to 1.0 bar (3 to 15 psig) pneumatic output signal. The converter modules use very small parts that are very small in mass and symmetrically balanced around the pivot point at the center of mass. This balanced layout reduces the sensitivity of the instrument to vibration, thus ensuring high performance of the instrument.
