Introduction: The Fisher 3660 pneumatic single-acting positioner can be used with a variety of actuators on slide rod valves for throttling applications. These positioners are rugged and provide valve positioning proportional to the pneumatic input signal received from the control device.

The positioner is designed to provide a precise, fast response capable of withstanding vibration in most plant environments.
Gain and damping are easily adjustable, allowing positioner stability to be fine-tuned to specific application needs.
The positioner accepts standard pneumatic input signals from the control equipment. This positioner provides split-range control as well as adjustable zero and span.
Most spare parts for the 3660 locator are interchangeable, so only a few spare parts need to be prepared.
The housing and cover are designed to withstand mechanical vibrations and rough treatment.
Zero position and volume adjustment can be performed without removing the cover.
To support diagnostic testing of valve/actuator/positioner packages through the FlowScanner™ valve diagnostic system, fittings, pipes, and other components can be installed between the 3660 positioner and actuator.
