Product characteristics
Viewing – The robot is equipped with 4 head cameras and 2 arm cameras, providing the robot with vision similar to that of the human eye, allowing it to accurately detect the position and shape of objects in 3D space. Even when the position of objects and obstacles changes, the robot can independently "observe" and determine their position. In particular, Epson's 3D vision system has been well applied in the toy industry, and Epson's industrial robots and 3D vision systems are perfectly integrated to help customers solve problems such as difficulty in grasping and low efficiency;
Sensor-The manipulator is equipped with Epson's high-sensitivity and high-precision force sensors. In this way, the robot can perform precision assembly, transportation, and other tasks that require similar human control to avoid damaging objects. As a high-end product independently developed by Epson, Epson pressure sensor has excellent performance in the field of precision assembly in the 3C industry, and can be used in conjunction with traditional industrial robots to compensate for robot and visual errors, so as to achieve precision assembly and provide customers with assembly consistency value, which is difficult to do with manual assembly;
The robot includes a multifunctional manipulator that can grasp, hold and grip objects of different shapes and sizes as a standard arm tool. They operate specially designed tools and fixtures.
The Think-Robot is able to accurately detect the position and orientation of objects in three-dimensional space, so that even if the robot moves to a new position, it can start working immediately without changing the program. In this way, the robot can flexibly adapt to drastic changes in production. In this way, it can move to different places every day by wheels to perform different tasks when needed. It can independently determine the course and direction of its seven-axis arm and avoid obstacles.
Reproduction - the robot's two seven-axis arms can move like human arms. The two arms move independently of each other, allowing the robot to accomplish tasks that a single-arm robot can't, such as holding the component in place with one hand and tightening the screws inside the assembly with the other.
The brand "WorkSense" represents the concept of robots that can be observed, perceived, thought and reproduced. Epson's WorkSense robots will be market-oriented, with particularly high requirements for low-volume production and JIT production, such as automotive component production.
