Introduction: The Epson/Epson RS3SCARA robot adopts a unique new design that can improve workspace utilization and cycle throughput at the same time. The arm-shaped structure is designed so that the second joint can move under the first joint, thus making full use of the entire working space under the arm. Unlike other SCARA robot designs, no space is lost in the center of the work area. No other supplier is currently able to offer a 350mm arm-length SCARA robot that can fit a 494 mm x 494 mm pallet. Pallets of this size usually require twice the length of the SCARA arm.
