How Eaton UPS is maintained

1. How to maintain Eaton UPS?

(1) Under normal conditions, the battery should be charged and discharged every 3-6 months, and the charging time of the standard machine should be more than 10 hours after discharge.

(2) It should be charged once every 3-6 months after a long period of idleness.

3. The natural environment of the rechargeable battery stipulates that the temperature is between zero degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius to prevent sun exposure and keep it clean.

4) Generally at room temperature, the float life of maintenance-free lead batteries is 3-5 years.

　　2. How to maintain the rechargeable battery after hot standby?

1) In hot standby, the server and backup modem can apply lithium battery packs of different volumes, but attention should be paid to charging and discharging.

2) The high-capacity battery should be matched with the backup battery, but the backup battery has enough time to maintain power in the event of a failure of the main unit. In fact, due to changes in commercial power, the probability of the main engine being powered from the battery is significantly higher compared to the backup machine. That said, it's rare for a backup machine to automatically power the battery. Therefore, the key to dual-machine backup for battery maintenance is for the backup machine. The specific method is as follows: backup battery maintenance:

(1) In current mode, when the bypass indicator and inverter indicator are turned on, press the host switch on key 1s, and the host enters the inverter bypass state.

(2) Press the power button 1S on the standby machine, and the standby machine will turn to self-test until the battery is in low voltage mode. The line, bypass, battery, and input indicators will be displayed in a cycle.

(3) There are two ways to remove the maintenance of the rechargeable battery of the spare machine:

Answer: Manually, press the power button 1S again, and the main and standby machines will all switch to in-line mode.

B: Fully automatic, when the standby machine is charged and discharged to the disconnected maintenance working voltage, the main and standby units will be converted to route safety mode; When the voltage is abnormal or terminated, the primary/standby unit will switch to BATINV-Mode (battery-powered mode).
