The characteristic of the capacitor is first and foremost the communication through the DC block. The capacitance capacity is the size of the capacitor that can store electrical energy, and the blocking effect of the capacitor on the communication signal is called capacitive reactance, which is related to the frequency and capacitance of the communication signal.

The identification method of capacitance is basically the same as that of resistor, and there are three types: direct standard method, color mark method and number mark method. The basic unit of capacitance is indicated by farad (F), and other units are: millimethod (mF), micromethod (uF), nanomethod (nF), picomethod (pF).

Capacitors with large capacitances have capacitance values that are indicated directly on the capacitor, e.g. 10 uF/16V

A capacitor with a small capacitance has a capacitance value indicated by a letter on the capacitance or a number indicating 6

Letter indication method: 1m = 1000 uF 1P2 = 1.2PF 1n = 1000PF

Numerical indication: Generally, three digits are used to indicate the size of the capacity, the first two digits indicate significant figures, and the third digit is the magnification.

For example, 102 indicates 10×102PF=1000PF 224 indicates 22×104PF=0.22 uF

4. Fault characteristics
