1. First carry out the no-load test operation of the inverter

First of all, check whether all the wiring of the inverter is correct, do not connect the output of the inverter to the motor, and conduct a no-load test on the inverter first. Carefully read the user manual of the inverter before powering on, understand the relevant functions, settings, and operation methods, and then power on this basis.

There are two intentions of no-load test operation: one is to understand the keyboard and related operation methods through actual operation, such as forward, reverse, abort, etc., and observe the action of the inverter, whether the temperature rise is normal.

The second is to understand the setting and operation method of the relevant functions in combination with other things, and try to see the action state and action process of the fundamental function after setting, such as the setting of rise and fall time. On this basis, look at the signal of the external terminal to control whether the action is normal, such as whether the output frequency of the inverter changes with the given signal when rotating the potentiometer clockwise or changing the frequency to a given current.

2. No-load test operation of inverter with motor

After the no-load test operation of the inverter is normal, the motor can be connected to the no-load test operation. Before connecting the motor, it is necessary to confirm that the technical indicators of the motor are qualified.

The motor should not be loaded. Then let the inverter drive the motor to roll, and investigate whether it is normal, such as whether the direction of rotation of the motor meets the requirements. Turn the frequency given potentiometer counterclockwise to the left end of 0Hz, then turn on the forward switch (FWD) of the inverter, slowly rotate the potentiometer clockwise, so that the given frequency gradually increases, investigate the rolling situation of the motor, at 50% of the maximum frequency, let the motor roll for a few minutes, and investigate the value of voltage and current, and then let the output frequency of the inverter reach the maximum frequency, then let the motor roll for a few minutes, and investigate the value of voltage and current, and then let the output frequency of the inverter reach the maximum frequency, Let the motor roll for a few more minutes.

Then reduce the output frequency to 75% and 25% of the maximum frequency, let the motor roll for a while, then increase the output frequency, and then disconnect the forward switch (FWD) to see if the motor stops according to the set deceleration time. This process does not require parameterization at all, and it is possible to use the preset parameters of the inverter at the factory.

3. The inverter is operated and debugged with load

Before starting commissioning, check that there are no personnel around the load and no foreign objects on the load before loading and debugging. When debugging, first give a small frequency, investigate whether the load runs smoothly, whether there is abnormal sound in operation, and analyze the reasons if so; Investigate the torque of the inverter, whether the current is abnormal, generally when the inverter is started with load, the current torque is larger, and when it runs to a given frequency, the current torque is relatively stable.

Furthermore, after the external load run-in period, the torque current has a certain amplitude of decline, if the load always reaches the rated value after the inverter is running, it is necessary to judge whether the inverter and the motor are matched with the load, if so, the need to consider replacing the inverter and motor of the larger model in time, so that the control current and torque reach the scale; In addition, according to the load characteristics, set a reasonable acceleration and deceleration time to ensure that the inverter does not report overcurrent during operation and start-up.
