Rosemount Models 2088, 2090F, and 2090P Pressure Transmitters Quick Installation Guide
  Install it directly to the impulse pipe without the need for an additional mounting bracket, or use the optional mounting bracket to mount it directly to a wall, panel, or 2" pipe.

  2. Rosemount 2090P

Use an existing welded stub to mount it directly on the process pipeline, or have a skilled welder install a new welded stub casing with a TIG welder. Please refer to the reference manual for full welding instructions. Improper installation may result in deformation of the welded short casing. It is recommended to install in an upright or horizontal position to ensure smooth drainage.

  3。 Rosemount 2090F

It is mounted directly on the process piping using a standard sanitary unit (1.5 or 2" Tri Clamp connectors). It is recommended to install in an upright or horizontal position to ensure smooth drainage.

4. Liquid flow application

7. Environmental sealing of the enclosure

Thread wrap seal (PTFE) tape or thread sealant is required on the male thread of the conduit to achieve waterproof/dustproof conduit sealing and NEMA® compliance

Type 4X, IP66 and IP68 requirements. If other enclosure ratings are required, consult the factory. For M20 threads, install pipe plugs so that the threads are fully engaged or until mechanical resistance occurs.

8. The orientation of the gauge pressure transmitter

The low-pressure side opening (reference atmospheric pressure) of the gauge pressure transmitter with aluminum case is located in the transmitter neck behind the housing. The exhaust path rotates 360° around the transmitter between the housing and the sensor.

The transmitter should be installed in such a way that the exhaust air passage is clear and unobstructed, including but not limited to paint, dust, and lubricants, in order to drain the process media.
