Fault Judgment in Rosemount Differential Pressure Transmitter Applications

In the process of measuring the transmitter, there are often some problems, and the timely analysis and treatment of faults are crucial for the ongoing production based on the experience in daily maintenance, and summarize some judgment and analysis methods and analysis processes.

1. Inquiry method: recall the ignition, smoke, odor, power supply change, lightning strike, wetness, misoperation, and mismaintenance before the fault occurs.

2. Intuitive method: investigate the external damage of the circuit, the leakage of the impulse pipe, the overheating of the circuit, the state of the power supply switch, etc.

3. Detection method:

1. Circuit breaking: Separate the suspected faulty part from other parts to see if the fault disappears, if it disappears, confirm the location of the fault, otherwise you can find it in the next step, such as: the intelligent differential pressure transmitter can not be normal Hart long-distance communication, the power supply can be disconnected from the meter body, and the transmitter is energized and communicated with the method of adding another power supply on the spot, so as to see if the cable is superimposed with about 2kHz electromagnetic signal and interferes with communication.

3. Replacement detection: replace the part that is suspected of being faulty and judge the defective part. If there is a problem with the circuit board of the transmitter, you can temporarily replace one piece to confirm the cause.

4 division detection: the measurement loop is divided into several parts, such as: power supply, signal output, signal transmission, signal detection, according to the sub-part view, from simple to complex, from the surface and the inside, reduce the scale, find out the location of the fault.
