Product Description
Introduction: An incremental encoder provides a fixed number of pulses in one revolution, and the speed is calculated by the number of pulses measured per unit of time. To measure angles and positions, it is common to start counting from a starting reference point. The accuracy of an incremental encoder depends on mechanical and electrical factors such as encoder indexing errors, disc eccentricity, bearing eccentricity, errors introduced by electronic readout devices, and optical inconsistencies that exist in any encoder.
