First, the principle of industrial touch screen
The touch screen system generally includes two parts: the touch screen controller (card) and the touch detection device. In the meantime, the primary function of the touch screen controller (card) is to receive touch information from the touch point detection device, and convert it into contact coordinates, and then send it to the CPU, which can receive the instructions sent by the CPU and perform them: the touch detection device is generally installed at the front end of the flasher, and the primary role is to detect the user's touch position and transmit it to the touch screen control card.
The industrial touch screen has strong sensitivity, can replace or add functional modules according to the planning requirements, has strong scalability, can meet the complex process control process, and can even communicate directly through the network system and PLC, which greatly facilitates the processing and transmission of control data and reduces the amount of protection.
1. Touch the flash module
The screen part of the resistive touch screen is a multi-layer composite film that matches the surface of the flasher, which is made of a layer of glass or plexiglass as the bottom layer, and the surface is coated with a layer of transparent conductive layer to control the engineering network, and then covered with a layer of surface hardening, smooth and scratch-resistant plastic layer, and its inner surface is also coated with a layer of transparent conductive layer, and there are many fine (less than thousandths of an inch) transparent barrier points between the two layers of conductive layers to isolate them.
When the finger touches the screen, the two layers of conductive layers that are usually insulated from each other have a touch at the touch point, because the conductive layer between them is connected to the 5V uniform voltage field in the direction of the Y axis, so that the voltage of the detection layer changes from zero to non-zero, and this connection situation is detected by the controller, A/D conversion is carried out, and the obtained voltage value can be compared with 5V to obtain the Y-axis coordinates of the touch point, and the coordinates of the X-axis are obtained in the same way, which is the basic principle of all resistive skills touch screen. The key to resistive touch screens lies in data technology. According to the number of lead-out wires, the resistive screen is divided into four-wire, five-wire, six-wire and other multi-wire resistive touch screens.
Resistive touch screen is a kind of working environment that is completely blocked from the outside world, not afraid of dust and moisture, it can be touched with any object, can be used to write and paint, and is more suitable for industrial control and indoor use. The disadvantage of resistive touch screen is that the outer layer of the composite film is made of plastic material, and people who don't know it may scratch the entire touch screen if they use too much force or use a sharp tool to touch, resulting in invalidity. However, within the limit, the scratch will only hurt the outer conductive layer, and the scratch of the outer conductive layer has nothing to do with the five-wire resistive touch screen, but is fatal to the four-wire resistive touch screen.
2. Logic control and communication module
The logic control module includes a 24V DC input (18-32) power supply, SDRAM memory and CF flash memory card, a 10/100BaseT Ethernet port, a 232 serial port for file transfer, printing and communication with a programmable controller, and a USB port for connecting a mouse, keyboard or printer. The CPU processing chip is embedded in the internal circuit board, which is responsible for the input and output of the flash screen and the processing of communication data. The communication module acts as a specific network transmission to increase the data transmission rate.
2. Practical application of touch screen skills
