(1) Fault 1: Contact deviation

Common faults of Hitec touch screen and their maintenance methods

Phenomenon 1: The direction of the finger does not coincide with the mouse arrow.

Reason 1: After installing the driver, there is no vertical contact with the bullseye when calibrating the alignment.

Solution 1: Re-align the position.

Phenomenon 2: The contact in some areas is accurate, and the contact in some areas is biased.

Reason 2: A large amount of dust or scale is piled up on the sound wave reflection stripes around the four perimeters of the external sound wave contact screen, which affects the transmission and transmission of sound wave signals.

Treatment 2: Clean the contact screen, pay special attention to clean the sound wave reflection stripes on the four sides of the contact screen, and disconnect the power supply of the contact screen control-card when cleaning.

(2) Fault 2: No response to contact

Phenomenon: When touching the screen, the mouse arrow does not move, and there is no change in orientation.

Causes: There are many reasons for this phenomenon, which are explained below:

(1) The dust or scale accumulated on the sound wave reflection stripes around the four periphery of the external sonic contact screen is very severe, resulting in the failure of the contact screen;

(2) The contact screen is faulty;

(3) The contact screen control card is faulty;

(4) The signal line of the contact screen is faulty;

(5) The serial port of the computer host fails;

(6) The computer's operating system fails;

(7) The contact screen driver is installed incorrectly.

Dispose:

(1) Observe the contact screen signal indicator, the light shines regularly under normal circumstances, about once per second, when the screen is contacted, the signal light is always on and stops contact, and the signal light recovers and flashes.

(2) If the signal light is still on when there is no contact, first check whether the contact screen needs to be cleaned; Secondly, check whether the serial slogan connected to the hardware is consistent with the serial slogan set by the software, and whether the serial port of the computer host works normally.
