Nowadays, HMI is widely used in various fields, but many problems are often encountered in the process of using human-machine surfaces. In view of these situations, this paper summarizes the common faults of human-machine interface in daily operations and how to deal with them.
1. The human-machine interface is unresponsive, and there is no response to any part of the touch.
Solution: When encountering this situation, first check whether the wiring interface is loose, and then check whether the serial port and the interrupt number are conflicting, if it is caused by conflict, then the resources should be adjusted to avoid conflict.
Secondly, check whether there are cracks on the surface of the human-machine interface, and replace them in time if cracks are found. In addition, it is necessary to check whether there is any dirt on the surface of the human-machine interface, and if so, to remove it with a soft cloth. Observe and check whether the indicator light on the control box is working normally, and when it is normal, the indicator light is green and flashing.
If the above parts are normal, you can use the replacement method to view the human-machine interface, first replace the control box, then replace the touch screen, and finally replace the host.
2. The human-machine interface is normal but the computer cannot be operated. A human-machine interface, after the test itself, everything is normal, but after connecting to the host, the computer cannot be operated.
Solution: There are two reasons for this. First, it may be that the HMI driver version is too low and requires the latest driver to be installed. Second, it may be that before the host starts to load the HMI driver, the HMI control card receives the operation signal, and only needs to turn off the power from the beginning and then start the computer.
3. Inaccurate touch. In an external sonic HMI, touching the part of the monitor screen with your finger cannot complete the corresponding operation normally.
Solution: There are two reasons for this phenomenon. The first possibility is that the reflective fringes of the sound wave screen are slightly damaged, and if this situation is encountered, it will not be able to be completely corrected; The second possibility is that after the sonic HMI has been used for a period of time, the reflective stripes around the screen are covered by dust, which can be wiped with a dry soft cloth, and then the power is off, the computer is started from scratch and calibrated from scratch.
Four: display magnetization
Phenomenon: Some areas of the display appear to have a color cast or light spot.
Cause: There is a large alternating magnetic field in the environment of the display location.
Treatment: Find out if there are high-power appliances nearby, such as high-power transformers, speakers and other equipment, and move them away. The display is degaussed by using the degaussing function of the display itself. Change the orientation of the monitor to reduce the influence of geomagnetic fields on the display.

Phenomenon: The entire area of the display appears to have a color cast.
Cause: The color setting of the display is incorrect or the color setting of the display card is rendering error, and the signal cable plug of the monitor is not in good contact with the display card of the host.
Processing: Use the color setting function of the monitor itself to adjust the color settings and adjust the color settings of the graphics card; Secure the signal cable plug of the monitor to the graphics card to ensure that the touch is thorough.
