The capacitive skill touch screen uses the current induction of the human body to work. The capacitive contact screen is a four-layer composite glass screen, the inner and outer surface of the glass screen and the interlayer are each coated with a layer of ITO, the outermost layer is a thin layer of silica glass protective layer, the interlayer ITO coating is used as the working surface, four electrodes are drawn out at the four corners, and the inner ITO is the shielding layer to ensure an outstanding working environment. When the finger touches the metal layer, the user and the contact screen form a coupling capacitor because of the electric field of the human body, and for high-frequency currents, the capacitor is a direct conductor, so the finger draws a small current from the contact point. This current element flows out of the electrodes on the four corners of the contact screen, and the current flowing through these four electrodes is proportional to the interval between the fingers and the four corners, and the controller obtains the orientation of the contact points through the accurate calculation of the four current proportions.
Advantages of capacitive contact screens:
1. Novelty in operation. The capacitive touch screen supports multi-touch, making the operation more intuitive and interesting.
2. It is not easy to touch by mistake. Because the capacitive contact screen needs to sense the current of the human body, as long as the human body can operate it, it will not correspond when touched with other objects, so the possibility of accidental touch is basically avoided.
3. High durability. Compared with resistive contact screens, capacitive contact screens have better embodiment in dustproof, waterproof, wear-resistant, etc.
Defects of capacitive contact screens:
1. The accuracy is not high. Due to technical reasons, the accuracy of capacitive contact screens is still in short supply compared to resistive contact screens. In addition, you can only use your fingers to type, and it is difficult to recognize more complex handwriting input on a small screen.
2. Vulnerable to the environment. When environmental factors such as temperature and humidity change, it can also cause instability or even drift of the capacitive contact screen. For example, when a user is using a combination of their bodies close to a screen, it can cause drift, or even when operating in a congested crowd. This is mainly due to the working principle of the capacitive contact screen skill, although the user's finger is closer to the screen, there are many electric fields in the vicinity of the screen that are much larger than the finger, which will affect the judgment of the contact direction.
