Linear displacement sensors work on the same principle as a sliding rheostat and are used as voltage dividers, which represent the actual position of the measured position with a relative output voltage. There are the following requirements for the work of this device:
1. If the electronic ruler has been used for a long time, and the seal has been aged, and there are many impurities mixed with it, and the water mixture and oil will seriously affect the contact resistance of the brush, which will make the displayed numbers keep jumping. At this time, it can be said that the electronic ruler of the linear displacement sensor has been damaged and needs to be replaced.
Second, if the capacity of the power supply is very small, there will be many situations, so the power supply needs to have sufficient capacity. Then, if the capacity is insufficient, it will cause the following situation: the movement of the melt will cause the display of the clamping electronic ruler to change and fluctuate, or the movement of the clamping will cause the display of the injection electronic ruler to fluctuate, resulting in a large error in the measurement results. If the driving power supply of the solenoid valve is at the same time as the power supply of the linear displacement sensor, the above situation is more likely to occur, and the voltage level of the multimeter can even be measured with the voltage level of the multimeter in serious cases. If the situation is not caused by high-frequency interference, electrostatic interference, or neutralization is not good enough, then it is possible that the power supply is too small.
3. Frequency modulation interference and electrostatic interference may make the display number of the electronic ruler of the linear displacement sensor jump. The signal line of the electronic ruler and the strong current line of the equipment should be separated from the wiring slot. The use of grounding brackets must be mandatory, and at the same time, the housing of the electronic ruler must be in good contact with the ground. The signal wire needs to be shielded, and a section of the electrical box should be grounded with the shielded wire. If there is high-frequency interference, the voltage measurement using the multimeter will usually show normal, but the display number will jump non-stop; In the case of electrostatic interference, the situation is the same as that of high-frequency interference. To prove whether it is electrostatic interference, you can first use a section of power cord to connect the cover screw of the electronic ruler with some metal on the machine, as long as it is short-connected, the electrostatic interference will be eliminated immediately. However, if you want to eliminate high-frequency interference, it is difficult to use the above method, and high-frequency interference often occurs in frequency converter savers and manipulators, so you can try to use the method of stopping high-frequency power savers or manipulators to verify whether it is high-frequency interference.
Fourth, if the electronic ruler of the linear displacement sensor is in the process of working, the display data at a certain point beats regularly, or when there is no display data, it is necessary to check whether the insulation of the connecting wire is damaged, and the short circuit to the ground caused by regular contact with the shell of the machine.
Fifth, the voltage of the power supply must be stable, and the industrial voltage needs to meet the stability of ±0.1[%], for example, if the reference voltage is 10V, it can allow ± 0.01V fluctuation change, if not, it will cause the situation of fluctuation of the displayed trap. However, if the amplitude of the fluctuation of the display at this time does not exceed the amplitude of the fluctuation of the fluctuating voltage, then the electronic ruler is normal.
6. The alignment of the installation of the linear displacement sensor needs to be very good, but the parallelism can be allowed to have an error of ±0.5mm, and the angle can be allowed to have an error of ±. However, if the parallelism error and angle error are large, the display number will jump. In such a situation, the parallelism and angle must be adjusted.
7. In the process of connection, we must pay more attention to the fact that the three wires of the electronic ruler cannot be connected wrongly, and the power line and output line cannot be replaced. If the above line is wrong, there will be a large linearity error, it is difficult to control, the accuracy of the control will become very poor, and the display is easy to jump and so on.
