Virtual serial port configuration process:

1. Open the virtual serial port configuration software and create two pairs of serial ports;

2. The circle is the physical serial port in the computer, and the virtual serial port in the box;

3. If you have added two groups and want to add a port for testing, you can select the port 1 and port 2 you want to add in the window on the right, and then click Add Port;

Touchscreen dual slave configuration:

1. Create a new touchscreen project, then add two Mosbus RTU devices, configure as follows:

2. The port of slave station 1 is set to COM6, one of our virtual serial ports, pay attention to the asterisk after the port number, which is used to support computer communication;

3. The port of slave 2 is set to COM8, one of our virtual serial ports;

Slave configuration:

1. Open the Modbus slave software, configure the slave, set the station number to 1, and select the hold register;

2. Set the starting register address and the number of registers, and set the display to a signed integer;

3. Then double open this software, and then create a new slave, and the setting method is the same;

4. (It doesn't matter if the station number is repeated, it is not on the same port, and there will be no conflict)

5. After configuration, the communication settings are set up and connected;

6. The setting of the port number is particularly important, and it must be the other end of the port number set in the touch screen;

7. When creating a new virtual port, COM6 and COM7 are a group, and the screen is set to COM6, then COM7 is set on the slave side;

8. Remember that other communication parameters are consistent with the slave parameter settings of the touch screen;

9. Place two slave registers in the interface, and only put the integer as an example, you can place other Boolean or floating-point data; The following figure shows the data reading of the two slaves at the end.
