1) Rexroth vane pumps: Some users do not fill the pump with enough water before starting; It appears that the water has spilled out of the vent, but the air is completely discharged without turning the pump shaft, so that a little air remains in the inlet pipe or pump body.

2) Rexroth vane pump contact with the water inlet pipe horizontal section against the direction of the water flow should be more than 0.5% of the downward slope, the inlet end of the connected pump is the highest, not completely horizontal. Upturned, air will be trapped in the inlet pipe, which reduces the vacuum level in the water pipe and water pump, and affects the water absorption.

3) Rexroth vane pump packing has been worn out due to long-term use or the packing pressure is too loose, resulting in a large amount of water sprayed out from the gap between the packing and the pump shaft sleeve, and the result is that the outside air enters the pump from these gaps, affecting the water lifting.

4) Due to long-term diving, the water inlet pipe corrodes holes in the pipe wall, and the water surface continues to drop after the pump works, and when these holes are exposed, the air enters the water inlet pipe from the holes.

5) Cracks at the elbow of the inlet pipe, and a small gap between the inlet pipe and the water pump, may cause air to enter the inlet pipe.  The pump speed is too low

1) Human factors. Due to the damage of the original motor, a considerable number of users will be equipped with another motor to drive, resulting in low flow, low lift, and no water pumping.

2) The transmission belt is worn. There are many large water separation pumps that use belt transmission, due to long-term use, the transmission belt is worn and loose, and the phenomenon of slippage occurs, which reduces the speed of the pump.

3) Improper installation. The center distance between the two pulleys is too small or the two shafts are not too parallel, the tight edge of the transmission belt is installed on it, so that the wrapping angle is too small, the calculation error of the diameter of the two pulleys and the eccentricity of the two shafts of the coupling transmission pump are large, etc., all of which will cause the speed change of the water pump.

4) Rexroth vane pump itself mechanical failure. Loose fastening nuts between the impeller and the pump shaft or deformation and bending of the pump shaft, resulting in multiple movements of the impeller, direct friction with the pump body, or damage to the bearing, may reduce the speed of the pump.

5) The maintenance of the power machine is not recorded. The motor loses magnetism due to the burning of the winding, and the number of winding turns, wire diameter, and wiring method change during maintenance, or the failure is not completely eliminated during maintenance, and the speed of the pump will also change.

6) The suction lift is too large. Some water sources are deeper, and some water sources are flatter on the periphery, and the allowable suction lift of the pump is ignored, resulting in little or no water absorption. It is important to know that there is a limit to the vacuum that can be established at the suction port of the water pump, and the suction stroke is about 10 meters high when the water column is high when the water pump is absolutely vacuum. If the vacuum is too large, it is easy to vaporize the water in the pump, which is not conducive to the work of the pump. Each centrifugal pump has its maximum allowable suction range, generally between 3 and 8.5 meters, and the installation of the pump must not only be convenient and simple.

Rexroth vane pumps are widely used in sewage treatment plants to transport water, wet sludge and flocculant liquids because of their variable conveying, strong self-priming ability, reversible, and ability to convey liquids containing solid particles. The selection of progressive cavity pump should follow the principles of economy, rationality and reliability. If the design and selection are not well considered, it will bring trouble to the use, management and maintenance in the future, so the selection of a reasonable and reliable screw pump according to the actual needs of production can not only ensure the smooth progress of production, but also reduce the repair cost.
