1. One spare core of the control cable is grounded

It has been proved in practice that when a spare core in the control cable is grounded, the amplitude of the interference voltage can be reduced to 25%-50%, and the implementation is simple, and the cost of the cable is increased very little.

2. For circuits that will have serious consequences in the event of electrical interference, it is not suitable for a control cable

These include: (1) weak current signal control loop and strong current signal control loop; (2) The loop between low-level signal and high-level signal; (3) The same control cable should not be used for each phase weak current control loop operated by AC circuit breaker in phase. However, if each pair of round-trip wires of the weak current circuit belongs to the control cable that is not the same, it is possible to form a ring arrangement when laying, and the electric potential will be induced under the cross-link of the magnet wire of the similar power supply, and its value may have a greater impact on the parameter interference of the low level of the weak current circuit, so it is appropriate to use a control cable for the round-trip wire.

3. Grounding of metal shielding and shielding layer

Metal shielding is an important measure to reduce and prevent electrical interference, including the total shielding of the core, the sub-shield and the double-layer total shielding. The selection of the metal shielding type of the control cable should be included in the comprehensive interference suppression measures according to the strength of the possible electrical interference impact to meet the requirements of reducing interference and overvoltage. The higher the requirements for the anti-interference effect, the greater the corresponding investment, when the use of steel tape armor, steel wire braided total shielding, the price of the cable increases by about 10%-20%.

The control interference in the strong current circuit, due to its own strong signal, can be selected without metal shielding except for the ultra-high voltage distribution device or the control cable without metal shielding in addition to the ultra-high voltage distribution device or the parallel parallel to the high-voltage cable. When the control cable used in the weak signal control loop is located in the environment with interference effects and does not have effective anti-interference measures, it is advisable to choose the control cable with metal shielding to prevent electrical interference from malfunctioning or making insulation breakdown on the low-level signal loop. If the control cable of the weak current circuit can be separated from the power cable sufficiently, or when laid in a steel pipe, the external electrical interference may be reduced to a permissible limit.
