4) While adjusting, investigate the U signal jumping edge of the encoder and the Z signal until the Z signal stabilizes at a high level (here the normal state of the Z signal is acquiesced to be low), and lock the relative orientation of the encoder and the motor;
5) Twist the motor shaft back and forth, and after letting go, if the Z signal can stabilize at a high level every time the motor shaft returns to the equilibrium position freely, the alignment is useful.
2. Phase alignment method of absolute encoder
The phase alignment of an absolute encoder is not much different for singleturn and multiturn, in fact, it is all aligned within one turn that the detection phase of the encoder and the phase of the motor TV point. Now it is very practical to use the EEPROM inside the encoder to store the measured phase after the encoder is randomly installed on the motor shaft, and the specific method is as follows:
1) The encoder is randomly installed on the motor, that is, the encoder shaft and the motor shaft are consolidated, and the encoder shell and the motor shell are fixed;
2) Use a DC power supply to pass a direct current of less than the rated current to the UV winding of the motor, U in, V out, and orient the motor shaft to a balanced position;
3) Use the servo drive to read the single-turn azimuth value of the absolute encoder, and store it in the EEPROM that records the initial phase of the motor TV point inside the encoder;
4) The alignment process ends.
