(2). DC brake parking

DC brake parking is mainly used in the working condition of parking, assuming that the DC overvoltage phenomenon is present in the constant speed operation of the motor, it will not be used. DC braking parking is a direct current that is applied to the motor, forming a stop magnetic field. The rotor winding of the motor cuts the magnetic field to generate braking torque, so that the kinetic energy of the load becomes electric energy and is consumed, and the motor overheats in the process of consumption, and the braking time should not be too long. Because the voltage, frequency, and time are all manually set during the braking process, they can only be applied to the parking process.

Assuming that the motor in constant speed operation presents an overvoltage phenomenon, the method of braking resistance will be selected, and the principle is that when the inverter is overvoltaged, the energy storage capacitor will be charged, and when the critical maintenance value of the inverter is reached, the inverter will be operated and maintained. After increasing the braking resistance, the braking unit turns on the braking resistance circuit, releases the energy on the resistor, and consumes it in the form of heat energy to ensure the normal operation of the frequency conversion.
