3) Correct wiring and parameter setting. Before installing the inverter, it is necessary to read its manual carefully to grasp its usage, precautions and wiring; After the inverter is installed according to the technical conditions required by the inverter device, the parameters are correctly set according to the application requirements. It is not advisable to install a communication contactor between the inverter and the driven motor to prevent overvoltage from damaging the inverter at the moment of contactor breaking. The output of the inverter cannot be equipped with a capacitance compensation device to prevent the capacitor from being damaged by overheating caused by higher harmonics and the malfunction of the inverter's overcurrent maintenance.
4) The operation and abort of the inverter can not be operated directly by the circuit breaker and contactor, but should be operated by the inverter control terminal or the inverter panel keyboard, otherwise the inverter will be out of control, and the inverter may be damaged.
5) Prevent the use of inverter to drive the motor that does not match its capacity, the small capacity of the motor will affect the output of the torque, and the harmonic weight of the current will increase if the capacity is too large, which will have a negative impact on the frequency conversion speed regulation system. When using one inverter to drive multiple motors, in addition to making the total current of the motor operation less than the rated current of the inverter, it is necessary to consider at least the influence of the starting current of the maximum motor to prevent the overcurrent maintenance action of the inverter. When the driven motor is equipped with a brake, the inverter shall operate in the free shutdown mode, and the action signal of the brake shall be announced only after the inverter parking instruction is announced.
6) The selection of the motor and its best operation section is a key consideration in the planning, if the inverter long-term operation is below 5Hz, the motor heating will become an outstanding problem. When the motor is operated at low speed with the inverter, due to the decrease in the cooling effect of the motor, the temperature rise of the motor is too high, which is not conducive to the safe operation of the motor, it is necessary to ensure that the motor has good ventilation conditions, and if necessary, external ventilation and cooling measures are adopted, and the motor should be prevented from operating in the low-frequency area for a long time in the planning.
7) The inverter can arbitrarily adjust the speed of the motor, which brings convenience to the adjustment, but each motor has its certain natural frequency, if the speed frequency of the motor is just satisfactory to the production requirements, but just close to the natural frequency of the motor, resonance will occur, bringing serious damage to the motor, therefore. On the premise of satisfying the production requirements, it is necessary to consider avoiding the critical speed of the motor as much as possible.
8) Under the premise of conforming to the planning specifications, the length of the cable between the inverter and the motor should be shortened as much as possible to reduce the distributed capacitance of the cable between the inverter and the motor, so as to reduce the parasitic current during the low-frequency operation of the inverter.
9) It is strictly forbidden to directly measure the insulation resistance of the inverter with the insulation resistance meter, and it is necessary to disconnect the inverter and all weak current components when carrying out the insulation shake test, these components cannot be shaken by the insulation resistance meter, and the inverter should not be tested for withstand voltage.
10) If the frequency conversion speed regulation system adopts the power frequency and frequency conversion switching mode, the interlock between the power frequency output and the frequency conversion output should be reliable. Moreover, when switching between power frequency and frequency conversion, the output of the inverter should be blocked before the contactor is operated. Since it takes a certain amount of time for the contact adhesion and the arc of the high-capacity contactor to be calmed, it is necessary to cooperate optimally in the sequence and time of switching.
