Cause:

There are two causes of particle contamination: one is brought in from the outside, and the other is generated during the work process.

Atmospheric dust is brought in through the vents of the tank.

Mixing during storage and transportation.

Sludge and sediment resulting from chemical changes.

Present in hydraulic system elements.

Seals and gaskets are not suitable for use with REXROTH Rexroth piston pumps.

Harm:

Accelerates the aging and deterioration of fluids.

Plugging filters, bonding, servo valve holes.

Clogging of the primary oil suction filter, resulting in pump cavitation.

Increased wear and tear on pumps and moving parts.

Prophylaxis:

The storage and transportation of refined oil products must be dustproof and waterproof.

The system must be equipped with a filter device in order to remove contaminating particles in a timely manner. It is best to use a filter with an indication signal, and a magnetic trap should be installed at the bottom of the tank.

Install and regularly inspect and clean the filters drawn in by the pump.

Add a protective cover to the seal of the cylinder and actuator, or blow air to prevent dust.
