In order to cultivate and expand hard-core science and technology enterprises, promote future industrial innovation, and create a vane of industrial innovation, under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Economic Information Commission, the Shanghai Industrial Skills Innovation Promotion Association carried out research on the innovation index of hard-core technology enterprises and established a review index system, and released the "2022 Shanghai Top 100 List of Hard-core Technology Enterprises" on July 21. Shanghai Xinshida Electric Co., Ltd. ranked among the top ten, and the company's innovation ability and central skill advantages were once again recognized.
The list involves 1,993 enterprises, including the city's national and municipal enterprise skill centers, listed companies, top 100 emerging industrial enterprises, top 100 private manufacturing enterprises and enterprises undertaking major municipal science and technology projects. Hard-core technology enterprises are mainly gathered in the "3+6" industrial system, with 53 enterprises belonging to the three leading industries, 85 enterprises belonging to the six key industries, and 37% of the enterprises listed on the main board and the science and technology innovation board. It is worth mentioning that Xinshida ranks highest among enterprises whose central business is intelligent manufacturing.
For hardcore tech companies, skills are the central moat. In the past 27 years since its establishment, Xinshida has adhered to long-termism, unswervingly followed the road of innovative development, and spared no effort to break the key central skills such as elevator control, frequency conversion drive, motion control, and robots through research and development, and applied them to every user, becoming the support behind professional use. Relying on the innovation channel of the National Enterprise Skills Center, Xinshida maintains a high research intensity, with a cumulative investment of 1.56 billion yuan after listing, and the current research and development personnel account for 36% of the total number of employees.
In addition, in terms of independent intellectual property rights of the center, Xinshida has also shown its hard core strength. By the end of 2021, Xinshida has obtained 730 national authorized patents, including 242 invention patents and 266 software copyrights.
