The rubber mixing process is a major power consumer in the entire tire production, and improving the rubber mixing efficiency and reducing the energy consumption of rubber mixing has always been an important topic in the industry. The low-temperature one-time rubber mixing technology changes the traditional multi-stage mixing technology to the one-stage mixing technology. This technology completes the continuous production of compounding, and obtains the final rubber at one time, with a high degree of automation and high production efficiency. Reducing the number of operators ensures the stable quality of the rubber compound, so the requirements for automatic control and drive of the low-temperature one-time rubber mixing system are also very high.
A large tire factory in Guangdong has launched two sets of low-temperature one-time rubber mixing systems, and the new Shida ME series special inverter has become the driving inverter of these two systems by virtue of its specialty, stability and fast communication function.
The low-temperature one-time rubber mixing method is to first enter the 0# rubber mixing unit of the rubber discharged from the internal mixer, and through a short time of mixing, the rubber material is cooled down and formed into a piece, which is convenient for transportation; The entry program is automatically queued and transported to one unit of 1-6# unit, on which the cooling, mixing, sulfurization, refining, and discharging of rubber are completed to the sheet pressing and opening machine, and finally the cooling and lamination are completed on the film cooling line to complete the mixing of a car of rubber material. In this process, after the rubber material is discharged from the internal mixer, it does not need to go through the process of parking, etc., and only needs to pass through the open mixer to complete the final mixing. The system selects 6 sulfurization rubber mixing units, and the working cycle of each unit is coordinated with the internal mixer to ensure that the production capacity is maximized.
The project uses 11 ME series inverters for the low-temperature one-time rubber mixing system: 2 internal mixers and 9 open mixers. The system control bus adopts the Profinet communication bus method, which is more practical. Profinet, as a bus method for the Ethernet approach, is able to transmit TCP or IT data at the same time, making factory automation much simpler.
The open mill is driven by ME500 low-voltage inverter
The ME500 low-voltage inverter is controlled by advanced motor model and open-loop vector control on site, which can quickly respond to sudden load changes and meet the load drive requirements of the open mill.

ME series special inverter is successfully used in the low-temperature one-time rubber mixing system, and the whole rubber mixing system is about 10%-15% energy-saving compared with the traditional DC speed regulation system, which provides a new direction for the energy saving and emission reduction of the factory.
