Mitsubishi inverter fault visual inspection method

Create Date: 2024-8-30 12:03:23|Source: Mitsubishi Electric/Mitsubishi Electric

The intuitive method refers to the search and analysis of faults based on the external manifestations of Mitsubishi inverter defects without any instruments. The visual method includes an unpowered view and a power-on survey. In the maintenance, the first thing to do is to check whether there is no power, that is, use the human sensory organs (eyes, ears, hands, nose) to check whether the relevant plug-ins are loose, poor contact, virtual welding, desoldering, open circuit, short circuit, component corrosion, zoom, discoloration and fuse melt fuse and other phenomena. The intuitive method is the most basic and simple method. After investigating and checking various abnormal phenomena such as light, sound, and smell when the fault occurs, the maintenance personnel can reduce the problem to a certain module or even a printed circuit board. However, this method requires maintenance personnel to have a wealth of practical experience.

Mitsubishi inverter fault visual inspection method

Before conducting a visual view, the user and the personnel present at the scene should be asked about the situation, including the external embodiment of the fault, the general location, the environmental situation when the fault occurs, if there is any abnormal gas and open flame, whether the heat source is close to the inverter, whether there is corrosive gas intrusion, whether there is water leakage, whether someone has repaired it, and the content of the repair.

The implementation process of the intuitive method should adhere to the principle of simplicity before complexity, and first the outside and then the inside. In actual operation, the first thing to face is how to open the inverter shell, and then how to match the shape, name, representative letters, circuit symbols and functions of the various electronic components in the disassembled inverter, that is, whether the electronic components can be accurately identified. When the intuitive method is selected, it is mainly divided into the following three processes.

1. Check after power-on: At this time, the eyes should see whether there is ignition and smoke inside the inverter; The ear should listen to whether there is abnormal sound inside the inverter; Smell whether there is a burning smell inside the inverter; Hands should touch some transistors, integrated circuits, etc. to see if they are tricky, if there is abnormal heating, should be turned off immediately.

2. Check before opening the inverter shell: investigate the appearance of the inverter to see if there are traces of bruises, and whether the buttons, sockets, and external wiring of the inverter on the inverter are damaged.

3. Check after opening the inverter shell: investigate the circuit board and various devices in the machine to see whether the melt of the fuse is fused; Whether the components collide or break the wire; whether the resistance is scorched or discolored; Whether the electrolytic capacitor has leakage, swelling and deformation; Whether the copper foil and solder joints on the printed circuit board are in good condition, and whether there are traces of trimming or soldering by others. When investigating the inside of the inverter, you can use your hand to move some components and parts to fully see.

The intuitive method is characterized by its simplicity and does not require other instruments, and is very effective in repairing general and damaged defects of Mitsubishi inverters. The intuitive method of detection is comprehensive, and it is closely related to the experience, theoretical knowledge and professional skills of maintenance personnel. The intuitive method requires maintenance personnel to accumulate experience in many maintenance practices, as long as they are able to use it skillfully. Intuitive inspection often runs through the whole process of repair, and it is better to use it in conjunction with other inspection methods.
